Blueprints, Engineering Copies & Building Plans in Marion, MA

Blueprints, Engineering Copies & Building Plans for Marion, MA — the local picture

Marion is about 35 minutes south of our shop via Route 44 and Route 6 — most Marion orders go out by UPS or get picked up on a trip up the coast. Tabor Academy printing, Marion Village shops, Sippican Harbor yacht and regatta programs, and summer rental owners around Silvershell Beach drive most of what we print for Marion.

In Marion, the blueprints, engineering copies & building plans work we see most often comes from builders and general contractors near Marion Village, dropping off or picking up via Spring Street. Think a permit set for a building department filing, half-size 11x17 sets for the subs, or a stack of 24x36 site plans for a bid package — that's the blueprint, engineering copy and building plan printing on wide-format bond we run every week for Marion customers, and exactly the kind of job we'll quote fast and turn around on a tight timeline.

What sets Marion blueprints, engineering copies & building plans apart from other South Shore towns isn't the print — it's the mix of customers. Architects, engineers and surveyors near Tabor Academy and homeowners pulling permits at town hall over by Marion Village have different deadlines, stocks and finishing — and we keep their job histories on file so a reprint takes a phone call, not a re-quote.

Plan work from Marion runs on deadlines: half-size plan sets for field use, usually for builders and general contractors near Front Street with a filing date or a bid due.

Site supervisors working off marked-up plan sets by Sippican Harbor bring us 24x36 architectural plans for a contractor bid walk as well — rolled originals, PDFs or a phone photo of a title block are all workable, and Marion sets come in off Spring Street or by email.

We're about 22 miles from Marion (35 minutes), so Marion sets can be printed, folded or rolled and picked up the same trip as the permit office run.

Parking is free and right at the door, so a Marion pickup takes a minute — most customers come through on the way to or from Sippican Harbor rather than making a separate trip.

Getting here from Marion is straightforward: Spring Street brings you to 66 Summer Street in Kingston Center, and customers who know Front Street usually have us on an errand they were already running.
