Production, proofing & timing
Most printing and finishing is completed in-house at our Kingston, Massachusetts shop. Selected specialty products and production methods may involve trusted production partners. We confirm pricing and turnaround for your specific project before production.
We work toward consistent color, but results can vary between production runs, printing methods, papers and finishes. If color is critical, contact us before ordering to discuss proofing options.
Small digital print runs and single copies are welcome. Minimum quantities can vary by product, stock and production method; we confirm any minimum with your quote.
Most jobs ship in 1–3 business days after required artwork, proof and pricing approvals. Same-day and rush service is available on many items — call or email for exact production availability. Shipping costs and UPS transit time are additional to production; allow mailing time separately for addressed mailings.

Common questions
Can you ship blueprint and plan printing outside of New England?
Yes. Blueprints, Engineering Copies & Building Plans orders can ship UPS to any U.S. address. Shipping is quoted on the real weight and carton size of your job, including applicable handling. Local pickup is always free if you're nearby.
How do I order blueprint and plan printing online?
Upload your artwork on our Place Order page or attach it to a quote request. We check the file, email you a proof or a note if anything needs adjusting, and confirm price, finishing and ship date before we print. Nothing goes on press until you approve it.
How long does blueprint and plan printing take?
Most blueprint and plan printing orders leave our facility within 1–3 business days of proof approval, with larger runs and heavy finishing quoted individually. We put the ship date in writing with your quote.
Is all printing and finishing completed in-house?

How much does it cost to print a blueprint or engineering copy?
Black & white wide-format prints are priced per sheet by size and quantity. 18x24 runs $2.00 (1–25) down to $1.00 (250+), 24x36 runs $3.00 down to $2.00, 30x42 runs $3.50 down to $2.50, and 36x48 runs $4.00 down to $3.00. Tiers are 1–25, 26–50, 51–99, 100–249 and 250+ sheets. At 100–249 sheets, prices are $1.25 for 18x24, $2.25 for 24x36, $2.75 for 30x42 and $3.25 for 36x48. At 250+ sheets, those sizes are $1.00, $2.00, $2.50 and $3.00 respectively.
Do you print on vellum?
Yes — vellum is $2.00 per square foot of finished size. It's the usual choice for stamped submittals, overlays and archival plan copies.
What is the 11" paper pricing?
Continuous 11"-wide roll bond is $1.00 per running foot — a cost-effective option for long detail strips and small-format plan runs.
Can you fold plans for permit filing?
Yes. We collate, staple or bind plan sets and fold them to 8.5x11 or 9x12 so they're ready to hand across the building department counter. We can also produce half-size 11x17 sets from your full-size plans.
Can I email or upload my plan set?
Absolutely — email a PDF to info@weprinttoday.com or upload it through our Place Order page. Multi-page PDFs at final size print best. You can also drop off paper originals and we'll scan and reproduce them.
How fast can I get plans printed?
Most jobs ship in 1–3 business days after required approvals. Same-day and rush service is available on many items — call or email for exact availability. UPS transit is additional.
Do you print plans in color?
Yes — color plan printing runs on our wide-format color machines and is priced separately at $3.00 per square foot. See our large format printing page for color, mounting and laminating pricing.
Can you ship printed plans?
Yes. We're an Authorized UPS Shipping Center, so we can roll or flat-pack your set and ship it directly to the job site, engineer or client.
