Yes. We Print Today, LLC is a registered Copy & Print Services Vendor for the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) in Massachusetts. Assigned counsel can use us for the full menu of attorney copying, document scanning, binding and trial-prep services and we bill the Commonwealth directly at the contracted rates.
What do I need to bring as a CPCS attorney?
An open NAC (Notice of Assignment / Authorization) number for the case, the materials you need produced, and clear instructions on quantity, color vs. B&W, paper size, binding and deadline. We'll confirm the scope, complete the work and submit the invoice on your behalf — you don't pay out of pocket.
What copy sizes and color options are covered?
Legal document printing is produced on 8.5x11 (letter), 8.5x14 (legal) and 11x17 (tabloid), in both black & white and full color, single-sided or double-sided, on standard white bond.
Do you scan discovery to PDF for CPCS cases?
Yes. We scan paper discovery to standard PDF or to searchable OCR PDF — black & white or color — so you can text-search names, dates and keywords across thousands of pages. Output can be sent by email, on a flash drive (up to 16 GB), on an external storage drive, or on CD/DVD.
Can you Bates-number discovery?
Yes — Bates numbering / Bates stamping is a standard discovery document service we handle in-house on any size production, with your preferred prefix, starting number and digit format.
What binders and binding options do you offer?
3-ring trial binders in 1", 1.5", 2", 3", 4" and 5" capacities, plus GBC binding and Velo / spiral binding for briefs, motions and trial books at any thickness up to 2"+. We also stock acetate, leatherette and printed covers / backers, tabs and indexes, and printed spine labels.
Can you duplicate CD/DVD discovery or open encrypted media?
Yes — litigation support printing also covers CD duplication, DVD duplication, and opening / downloading encrypted media (such as DA-produced discovery drives or password-protected files) onto a fresh drive or disc for your case file.
Do you produce trial exhibits and posters?
Yes. Trial preparation printing includes poster sizes of 18x24, 24x36 and 36x48 in black & white or color, with optional foam-board mounting for courtroom display. Great for crime-scene blow-ups, timelines, diagrams and demonstrative exhibits.
Will you box up and ship the finished work?
Yes — boxing, packaging and shipping/mailing are billable line items. We'll package finished discovery, binders and media for pickup at our Kingston shop, or ship directly to your office, co-counsel, the court or an expert.
How does CPCS direct billing work?
Once we complete your job, we submit an itemized invoice referencing your NAC # directly to the Commonwealth at the contracted vendor rates. You receive the finished work; CPCS receives the bill. No reimbursement paperwork on your end.
How fast can you turn around a CPCS job?

Is privileged case material kept confidential?
Absolutely. Attorney work product, discovery and client materials are handled confidentially, kept secure during production, and returned to you with the finished work. We do not retain copies or scans beyond what's required to complete the job.
